A Night of Ikebana
In partnership with Butler Blooms | Hosted at Whitney's LBK
Join The Social Circle for an intimate evening of Ikebana, the centuries-old Japanese art of flower arranging. More than just floral design, Ikebana is a meditative practice rooted in balance, simplicity, and a deep appreciation for nature and this class will walk you through its history and technique in a relaxed, hands-on setting.
Guided by the florists at Butler Blooms, you'll learn the fundamentals of Ikebana and leave with your own beautiful arrangement to take home.
Each guest will receive:
- A guided introduction to the history and philosophy of Ikebana
- A vessel
- Fresh florals
- Kenzans (traditional "flower frogs" used to hold stems in place)
- Ikebana-style shears
- Beveraginos & bites during the experience
